"What Caused These Star-Crossed Lovers Deaths?"

"Where's the Love in Verona?"
A tragic thing has just happened in the fair peaceful land of Verona. An ancient feud between the Montagues and Capulets has ended in a tragic bloodbath. Romeo and Juliet , a pair of lovers take their lives since they were not allowed to be together. Big Daddy Montague and Papa Capulet finally made peace when the deaths of these lovers was discovered.This happened between the hours of midnight and two a.m. This pair of lovers take their lives in big misunderstanding. Rome thinking Juliet was dead took his life because could not bear the fact that her love was dead. But in reality Juliet was in a deep sleep, but at the sight of her dead Romeo ends up shooting herself with Romeo's revolver.





Romeo was the son of Big Daddy Montague Lady Montague. He was a young man about 16 years old. He was handsome impulsive and very passionate about love. He was very loved by his family and was especially close to his cousin Benvolio. They thought that he was a great kid and had really great expectations for him to carry out the Montague name.

Juliet was the daughter of Papa Capulet and Lady Capulet. She was a young beautiful 12 year old girl. She was a naive girl who didn't think much of love until she fell for Romeo. Her best friend was her Nurse who treated her more like a daughter.

I interviewed the some people of both households...

This is what Papa Capulet had to say: "Romeo is a villain why did he take my baby away from me. But maybe it's my fault for pressuring her to marry Paris. I should have kept my problems with the Montageus to myself. But since I didn't a lot of people died. I should have listened to my Juliet and respected her decision to be with Romeo. Because it isn't Romeo that i hate but his family. "

This is what Benvolio said:"Romeo was a good kid and a great cousin. The only reason he killed Tybalt was because he killed his best friend Mercutio. Romeo was not looking for a fight, but Tybalt was ready to fight with anyone. If only I had been more like Romeo and try to stop the violence, he would've probably still been here."

The Prince said he hashad enough of the fued that is going on between the Capulets and Montague.He will make a trial to see which household is truly responsible for all the death and destruction. I was informed that the people on trial will be Juliet's Nurse, Benvolio, and Friar Lawrence.

My Views on Euthanasia

After reading the articles and and "Of Mice and Men" i have found out that euthanasia is not such a primitive topic. It is actually a big conundrum that is disputed amongst people a lot. But i have attained information to say that I believe that in some cases euthanasia is the right thing to do. Like when a person is in a vegetative state it is best to liberate them from their state of suffering. It is not right to just let the person suffer because you don't want anyone to think bad of you especially if that is what the person wants. It is your obligation to make the person comfortable and give them what they want before they leave this world. If you were sufferinng I don't think you would want to live much longer.

"Mercy" Killing?

-His perspective is that he didn't want Lennie to get killed and tortured by Curley. Since George didn't want Lennie to get tortured he decided to kill Lennie himself.He didn't want Lennie to cause any more trouble nor any more harm like to Curley's wife.
-I don't think that was the best thing to do for Lennie. Even tho he killed a person he didn't deserve to die like that. He should have at least been locked up but not just killed like a dog.

-The father said that his daughter wished to get her tubes removed. This explains why the father pulled the plug on his daughter because he explains that it wasn't his idea to remove his daughters' feeding tubes.
"Eluana Englaro, who had been in a vegetative state for 17 years, died Feb. 9 in a clinic in the city of Udine after doctors removed her feeding tubes."
-This was the best thing to do for his daughter because she was in a vegetative state and people don't recover from that. Those people have to live off machines for ever.
-I agree because if that is what his daughter waned it would be wrong to not listen to her.
3. Man Kills Family after Losing his Job
a. Imagine and list things that might have been going through the father's mind as he contemplated his "mercy" killing. (In the article, the father's suicide note gives specific evidence of why he did what he did. Elaborate on it.) Specifically, what could he have been negative or paranoid about?
b. Unfortunately, with America's failing economy, many professionals are losing their jobs. While many do not resort to something as extreme as the man in the article, it does cause stress within families. What are some ways that parents can support children (to succeed in life) that do NOT require money?

-Parents can support their children by showing interest in their child's hobbies. They can also help them by giving their children tips on life and about making good decisions. They can be role models for their kids and sow them about being a good person.
-The father was paranoid because he had just lost his job and didn't know wat would happen to him or his family.

LOTF

I think that Anthony Esquiva should be Ralph. He should be Ralph because he is good at being a leader. In The Big Green the team wants him to be the leader. They all want to e like him. They look up to him for advise.

Jimmy Higa would play a terrific Simon. Like Simon he is very shy. By being shy gets into difficult situations. They are both also pretty short. His character reminds me of Simon.






Patrick Renna should play Piggy. He should be piggy because he gets picked on like Piggy does. But when it comes time they both defend themselves. Both are also nice. They also help out the guy in charge.





I think that Bug Hall should be Roger. He might look calm and innocent but he can be the total opposite. He also seems like a mysterious boy that you don't know what to expect.

Chauncey Leopardi should be Jack beacuse he fits Jacks description. He also likes having power. He likes challenging the leader. He could pull it off as a crazy savage. He seems like a guy who would be choir leader.

Beasties:

This is a picture of a mall in Japan. There are many trees and people are walking around. The people are enjoying their day and having a great time. What they don't know is that their lives will not be the same after the bombing.













This is an image of some of the effects of the bombing on Hiroshima. As you can see there were a lot of people that were not able to escape the bomb. The person was evaropated by the heat of the bomb but their shadows were burnt into the ground. Those are only some of the unfortunate people that were killed by the bomb.

























In this picture I see a boy who was hurt by the explosion. His hair and skin were burned off in the bombing.The boy also looks very sad. I feel sorry for this boy because he will never live a normal life after this experience.

2nd assignment: Views on Abortion

I think that abortion should be legal. It should be legal because if the couple doesn't want the baby and they couldn't abort the child will have an unhappy life. Also because by trying to lose the baby without aborting not only will the mothers hurt themselves they will also hurt the unborn child. Another thing is that the mother could have been raped or forced to have sex which caused the pregnancy. "Banning abortion puts women at risk by forcing them to use illegal abortionists." I agree with this statement because if abortion is banned women will use more deadly ways to abort and it could end in their death. "This argument reminds us that even in the abortion debate we should regard the woman as a person and not just as a container for the foetus." This quote states that we have to remember that not only is the mother the provider and home of the baby she is a human being that has the right to abort.
